Ventilation while winterized?

I'm familiar with most of the winterizing needed in a camper, but ventilation is never mentioned. When I had a trawler, during winter storage I had a couple of small heaters (very low output) running in the boat. Theory Es, if you got the air heated slightly, as it rose and leaked out the boat it would take moisture with it. Would this be a wise move in a camper? What about having the roof vents cracked slightly (both have covers)? Any thought greatly appreciated.

I know some use an electric dehumidifier that drains into the sink. It will also circulate the air. Not sure I would want to use a heater, even though they have safety devices on them.

I always keep my vents cracked when stored under carport. We don't get too cold here, but if it gets around freezing I set an auto electric heater on with the temp set around 50 or so. I also keep two dehumidifiers inside. They collect a fair amount of water so I know they're working.

Dri-Z-Air DZA-U Pot Look at these on amazon . Put in trailer 2 weeks ago they have some water in them seem to work well. take humidity out of air.

I live in RI and we tend to have wet, moist air winters.
My roof vents are covered so I open them about 1/2".
My unit is 33feet I set up 4 Damp Rid small containers.
I dump and refill every 5 weeks. My unit is dry and odor free. That works for us.

Socoguy, I also live in RI, and agree with the wet air we get. I've used the damp rid in the boat but not the camper. I'll give that a try.
Do you cover your camper for the winter?

Hi Eric. I have used a cover for several years. I had no issues. I went one season without and the roof was a beast to clean. It is one of those do it ,don't do it advisories.
My unit was in a decent wind break area.
We now travel in winter so no cover.

Vents cracked open a bit - we have Maxxair vent covers installed too
