Had experienced kitchen GFI tripping in my 09 CF 30SK; dealer discovered 110 junction boxes at the frame under the slide rooms filled with water. Anyone experienced similar problem?

There have been issues with those boxes over the years. When I got our unit I opened all the exterior junction boxes and sealed them with silicon sealer. Knock on wood we have never had an issue with ours.

THey sell liquid gaskets. As Hunter said, it's typically a silicone based product. Should be an easy fix. I had another brand with the same issue, the foam gasket was installed sideways.

Cheers!

Had same problem with our '07. Sealed them up. So far no problem with the '10.

Been there too! I silicone only the wire nuts in both junction boxes. No more problems.

They are located under the slide, to the rear of the slide and near the outer edge.

Cowboy, they are talking about 120v wiring junction boxes. For the 30SK, there is one under the entertainment slide. Tire spray can fill them with water and trip the GFI or CB.

Dealer service drilled holes in the box to drain water, noy sure if this is a longterm solution.

Ummmm, drilled them out? I would tell them to replace the box and figure out a creative use for silicone.
