I see from your floor plan that you have a corner sink.
There must be a hot water heater access panel under the sink and your pump will
probably be located close to the water heater. </span>It is a long reach but the
bypass valve and winterizing tube are behind the head of the pump.</span>At the stern of our Cruiser the hose from the fresh water
tank to the pump is exposed. I will be installing a 3-way valve in that
location to make winterizing easier. By turning my new valve to the bypass
position and placing the winterizing hose into a pail of antifreeze, I should
be able to turn on the pump and purge the incoming pipe and all of the supply
lines to the faucets. OtherRV ownerspurchase a spare water pump and force antifreeze into the city water fill location. Don't forget the black water tank flush system. This year I could not keep antifreeze from flowing
through my water heater. I noticed in a winterizing instruction that I was
supposed to leave water in the heater, turn the water heater bypass and turn
the mixing valve while winterizing and then drain the water heater later. I
will be installing another valve at the water heater output to resolve this
issue.
