We are seriously considering a 2011 model. We are curious if any of you owners of new Cruisers would be so kind as to show some pictures of the sofa before, during, and after bed setup. If we could see standard hide-a-bed and Modern Air hide-a-bed pics, that would be even more awesome.

I would also like to know what the standard chairs look like versus euro chairs.

Thanks

here is an idea, order it without the furniture and without the mattress, use the money you save to buy some good furniture, all the furniture you get is really junk, we have replaced all the furniture in our unit, and there is just 2 of us no kids, I have had 3 crossroads units and the furniture has always been junk, looks good for awhile then it fall apart, we are looking for a new unit and we are buying with no furniture and no mattress, they are more than willing to give you credit for what you don't want, in my PP I wanted an extra recliner, they wanted 600.00 for a crummy built chair, I bought real leather recliners from lazy boy and they fit perfect, as far as a sofa, we have la lazy boy and we bought an aero bed air mattress, works like a charm and is way more comfortable....just my 2 cents

If it wasn't 8 degrees outside I would be happy to set our up and photograph it. But as it IS 8 degrees out, I am going to pass.

We had a fold out sofa bed in out '03 Cruiser and my daughter and her husband slept on it. We found a piece of 1/4" plywood under the matress made it acceptable.

The new 30SK has the inflatable matress. It takes a little longer to inflate/deflate but they like it much better.

We have had a couple of daughters and a granddaughter stay with us in our 07 30sk that had the fold-out sofa bed and mattress. Plywood under the mattress made it barely comfortable. The same family members have stayed in our new 30sk with the air mattress sofa bed and they all commented how comfortable it was, much better than the old one. Really doesn't take that long to setup/takedown and stores nicely in the draw under the sofa.

x2 on ordering without furniture. We have replaced the 2 swivel chairs with recliners and the poor excuse of a sleeper with a loveseat that is 100% more comfortable to sit on. Too bad we didn't tell them to keep the furniture when we bought ours!

x3 on ordering without furniture. Gave the loveseat with air mattress to grandson leaving for college. Will replace the recliners soon. taking the table out and putting in table with expandable leaves. Still like the up graded mattress with foam topper.

I appreciate all the comments, but we're not interested in replacing the furniture just yet. I just wanted a comparison to see the difference in the standard and air beds that come in the couch. I also thought it would be nice to see what the standard lounge chairs with ottoman looked like from folks who have them versus other online pictures.

Brad,

Thanks for the input, but can you elaborate on that statement?

We have the air bed and our guests said it was good sleeping. The air bed that came with the unit would not hold air and CR replaced it. The replacement bed works fine so far. It is somewhat inconvenient to fold up each morning. We like the extra storage under the sofa and store the air bed under our queen bed.

My thought... Go with the crummy sleeper materess and buy a simple air bed from Target or Walmartto put on top of it. Or two camping bed rolls.

First air mattress leaked. got a replacement. Put better foam in the sofa cushions. Still was uncomfortable. Also didn't like that the air mattress fit tight to the kitchen cabinet so no one or the dog could get by to go out in the am. guess it's your choice. We bought a queen double high airbed to put down when we need it. we like the euro recliners.

We could not sleep on the pull out so we bought a queen size BYOB blow up mattress it is great inflates fast deflates fast and is easy to hide away.
