They come with the day and night shades, and the fan is an option

Sounds like that dealer needs to become better educated about his product line.

You have the option to have a fantastic fan installed in each and every 14x14 inch vent opening that is standard on the 305SK. But I have no clue as to where the tstat would be mounted for each one.

On our 2010 30skp you cannot get a fanatastic fan in the kitchen, only the bathroom or bedroom. The reason is they replaced the 14x14 vent in the kitchen with a larger skylite with a sliding shade. Don't know if the 2012 patriot is that way. I would much rather have had the fantastic fan than the dopey skylite. Oh well.

Regular fan is three speed, small fan blade and manual on/off and manual vent. Fantastic fan uses a thermostat that will open and close the roof vent based on inside temp, large quiter fan that moves more air and a rain sensor to close the vent.

A regular fan is just three blades and a manually opened vent cover. The Fantastic fan and the Maxair fans have 10 bladed fans, automatic vent covers (the Maxair is rain proof) and most have a built in thermostat. I have two Maxair fans and can set each to a specific temperature. When the temperature goes above or below the preset the fan will either turn on or off. These fans can be run manually as well for continuous use. My Maxair fans permit me to open the vent covers without using the vent. The one we have in the bunkhouse can also be used as a ceiling fan with the fan on and cover closed.

The 305sk we looked at did not have a sky light in the kitchen and only had night shades, so the dealer must have ordered it this way or either CR makes some like this also. Now this was a Provencal and not a Patriot model, but I thought they were the same, just Provencal sold in Canada.

Shoe2728---my 2012 305SK has no vent in the kicthen area--therefore no place to install a fantastic fan. Day night shades were not offered to me as an opition. However in ours there is a fantastic fan in the bedroom, which pulls air in the windows next to the bed--works great on cool nights. Very few options offered on the Patriot model. I found it diffcult to get much info on what was and was not included form the 11 or 10 model, they did make a few changes. Great floor plan as I'm sure you know.

I finally got hold of CR today and they told me that I could order the fantastic fan in the kitchen. Also CR does not offer the Day/night shades, they told me the shades were a sheer dark color. That is not a deal breaker, but I do want the fan in the kitchen area. So see what happens when I order it.

Now another question about the 2012 305skP. the one we looked at had the rocker type chairs. We didnt really care for them so decided on the Euro Recliners, Now I find out CR no longer puts in the Euro Recliners, but a different type of Recliner. When I look at the 2012 brochure I still see the Euro Recliner, so got no idea what the new recliner looks like. Should we just get the standard rockers (we dont like) and buy our own recliners. Does anyone have a picture of the new recliners and do they like them. Sorry for all the questions just want to make sure we get what we want.
thanks

The standard rockers, in my opinion, don't fit the decor of the new Cruiser, so if you get them, replacing them with better recliners of your choice is certainly an option. Something many owners do. If you want to see what the new recliners look like, one option is to google '2012 Cruiser' and look at all the units that dealers around the country have for sale, some will have the old Euro recliner and some may have the new recliner, depends on how long ago CR made the switch. My point is that with any change, dealer inventory will see the 'new' item before many owners have it in their driveway.

Here is a picture of the rocker recliners that are in the 2012 Sahara 300ES that we take delivery on September 10th. We like them a lot as far as appearance and comfort not sure how they will wear but can't wait to find out.

Camping with Flair's pictures are the same chairs that I have seen during the past week while shopping for a new 335SS. You can also see the corner of the matching couch / hide a bed in his picture. Camping is in Texas and I am in Ontario so i think that it is safe to say that these chairs are the Euro replacement. My Salesman told me this as well.

Try ordering without any furniture, see what kind of break they'll give you. If the offer is any good at all take them up on it and buy your own furniture. I think you would be better off that way. May end up spending a little more but you'll get what you want and the quality you want.
( I'd be happy to give you the measurments of the existingfurniture if you wish--you'll know what size to look for)

we have a skylight and a FF in our kitchen and I think the FF works better than the exhaust fan above the stove. i think it was flyone that mentioned the one in the bedroom works very well on cool nights-- I agree. Things might have changed (maybe 5 times since we bought ours) but at the rv show where we bought ours, Rudy told us that in 2012 the euro recliners were still available but becoming an option instead of standard equipment.
