2014 Cruiser Aire Questions

Good Morning,

We are purchasing the Fifth Wheel in my signature, a 2014 Cruiser Aire CAF31DB, and we were looking through the brochures from 2014 and there is not a 31DB listed anywhere. I contacted Crossroads and they really have not been able to find anything on the unit except that it is a 31DB and they gave us the options that were installed, like a larger fridge and a couple other things. One question I have is does anyone else have this model? And what are your thoughts on it?

Also another question is, in the brochure is says something about an "EZ key fob remote (FW)". What is that? It is listed as a standard option and we are not sure where it would be located or what it would do?

Thanks

My guess would be the DB stands for --double bunk.

The EZ key fob remote, I believe is a remote for extending and retracting the slides and for the electric awning.

I believe that ours is a 2014 (might be a 2015) and it has the remote. We bought the trailer second hand and the previous owner demonstrated the remote. It moves the three slides in and out. We never use it.

Thanks for the input. Do you know where the base for the remote is located? Where all the wiring for it would be.

I haven't actually looked for it. ...I would expect it would be around the power distribution center. My RV is a rear living area and the kitchen is right inside the door. All the electrical controls are in an upper kitchen cabinet. I know the receiver isn't in the cabinet so I would expect it's behind the breakers and fuses. There's a pretty large void there and it's right below the electrical controls.

Let me know where it is when you find it.

2014 Cruiser mod 305sk not in blue book

Our Cruiser 5th wheel 2014 305sk was not in dealers blue book. Turns out it shows under 2013 (and 1/2?). Anyway thats where we had to go to get info. Title says 2014 however. Good luck

Unhappy mull4142

We have a 2016 Cruiser Aire fifth wheel and the only information we could find on it was under the 2015 specs and blue book. Upon closer inspection we discovered it had 2014 tires on it.????

If you have a 2015 and the date on the tires is 2014, I think you are one of the lucky one's. A lot of times they are much older then that when they get put on the trailer.

Checked my remote. It controls the following:
1. Bedroom Slide
2. Kitchen Slide
3. Main Slide
4. Awning
5. Exterior light above the main door
6. Rear Stabilizers

I may have to start using it.

So we didn't get the remote, not sure if someone lost it or what but the guy from the dealer gave me an excuse of "well if it doesn't have a holder on the wall then it didn't come with one and it was most likely an option that wasn't added".

I think I just have to dig and find the base and maybe I can get a replacement remote from Lippert?

Let me take a look at mine tonight. I've got pictures of the front here (currently at work and they frown at us connecting phones to the computer) and I'll shoot you the P/N I find.

Note that there's not a "holder" for mine either. It lives in the little tray thing that the RV is recessed into.
