I have an 05 Cruiser RK and the electric side of the water heater stopped working. I don't seem to be getting power to the heater. Have 110volts at breaker. Installed new element and relay before I checked the current. Anyone know how these are wired from the breaker box. Is it straight to the heater or run another way. Undoubtly the wires are not spliced. Do the wire run through the box under the slide or the roof. I am thinking it is a problem where the wire nuts are tied to the relay wires. Any advive!!

Do you have a switchat the HWH? Our 30SK has a switch right on the heater in addition to the one in the cabinet

Have you checked to see if the ground fault interrupted outlets in the kitchen area have been tripped? I don't know about the water heater, but if one of them is tripped my fridge won't work on 110V. I have a feeling that the water heater may be on it's own circuit though.

Water heater stopped working on my old 5er. Spent a couple of hours testing circuits, wires, connections, etc. Couldn't figure it out so I hauled it up to the dealer. Spent another hou with his tech who basically did the same thing, but he hooked up a computer, ran "diagnostic tests", all to no avail.

Finally another guy came over, (I think he was a customer), who asked if the switch was on at the rear of the heater; it wasn't. Apparently, while loading the pass-through up for camp, I hit the rocker switch with something, turning it off. On the upside, the dealer said they'd chalk it up to experience and not charge me for their time. Gee, thanks!
