I would think you have a outside Sat jack and a Cable jack and there are two jacks located in the TV compartment in the living room. May have one in the bedroom too but don't think so. Just make sure you are using the SAT jack and not the Cable jack as I do not think it will work. If that cable is not working and you have a newer trailer I would get it back to be fixed. If not I do not see any other way to get the cable in but through a window. I have seen an add on that is flat and screws on to the cable and will allow you to close the window. Good luck with your problem.

I did some looking around and if the window is the only option this is what you may need. Not sure if this link works but amazon search for Flat cable cctv jumper dish and direct approved. hope this helps.

This may be a stupid question...but what difference does it make between sat and cable? My Satelite at home comes thru on a cable? As long as you turn off the ant booster whats the difference? I only have one cable in on the back of my unit?

Have used the SAT connection on two different Cruisers for over 10 yrs. If that doesn't work for you, then get the dealer to find the problem.

What is the year and model of your unit?

Cable/Sat connection on outside of trailer will work unless something is disconnected between the exterior of the RV and the location of the jack at the television. Make sure you have the right jack by the television, some have two or more there - one for the roof antenna and one coming for the cable connection from the outside of the trailer.

HD Sat should be running on RG6 Bare Copper coax where as your cable if an older system is not running HD and is probably only RG59. HD is for High Def not be confused with DTV digital TV.

If u want to use the outside cable hook up for satellite signal you will need to onhook the the rg6 cable going into the tv antenna booster from that hook up an add a wall plate for it behind the tv a 5.00 fix
if not the booster steals the signal
