This is the first time in RV ownership (first one purchased in 1987) that we have purchased awning lights.

Put 25 watt bulbs in each fixture. Our unit has a<!--if gte mso 9>

Purchased them at camping world - - "internet" sale. Made in USA - Rochester,NY.

looks nice. I think awning lights are nice as they can give off a nice ambient glow to see at night.

Bob, we have used them in the pass but its to much trouble with the power awning. We don't leave it out unless we are out side. I had picked up a inline dimmer that you can have the light at any level of brightness. Lately I have seen campers using small shepherd hooks around there floor mats and lace the lights on hooks that is pretty cool.

They are attached with Camco 42733 RV Fabric Party Light Holders</span>

The lights with the hooks must be taken down when the awning goes in. The fabric holder piece could stay on the awning. Some have had problems with the eyelet on the fabric rusting and staining the awning. The lights have a loop screwed into the top of the light and that hangs on the hooks.

We use these http://ucampproducts.com/product/rol...essory-holder/as there are no metal parts and they just roll up with the awning.
