I have a Cruiser 335SS and wanting to put a flat screen tv in the bedroom. Looked at all kind of differant mounts. Wanting to know if any one has installed one and what it is and do you like it. Might put one in the basement also. Would they be the same?

I just got a simple take apart wall mount & used an1/8 in by 4 inchaluminum plate to span the studs to get a good hold. I then just push a button to take it down and lay on bed when traveling although I am certain it will travel that way if I forget to take it down.Works great JmHO jb

Hey John B if you get time can you take a picture of your aluminum plate and the push button mechanism....

My new trailer won't be in for another few weeks but that soundslike a great setup....

Our 335 has a reinforced mounting area for a TV next to the window in the bedroom. Bought a flat wall mount from Best Buy, used six 1/4" x 3/4" screws to attach the base and hung a 21" flat screen, never take it down even over 15,000 miles coast to coast last year.

I didn't notice a mounting spot in the bedroom by the window in the CF345RF sitting on the lot although it could well have been there I just didn't see it.

I believe the 335 & 345 are almost the same with slight changes to the layout at the back so perhaps there is a spot. I would rather it mounted than have to disconnect and lay it on the bed or put it in the spare closet where the washer/dryer goes.

Thanks

Ours had a big sticker "mount TV here", (up to 30#) supposed to be something like 3/4" plywood between the two alum studs so I just centered the base and screwed it to the wall; so far no problems at all. Good luck with you unit.

Sirsea, Does the mount tilt or swivel? If just mounted flat can you see it alright?

Tilts a little, but no problems with viewing.

Thanks, hopefully ours will be the same and it will be a simple job of screwing it to thereinforcedwall plywood. glad to see there is no issue with seeing it, we had trouble seeing the TV in our other5er as it sat in the corner on a pull out shelf, ended up putting books under it to tilt itso we could see it.
Dealer indicated he thought ours would be in around a month or so from the order date which was 3 weeks ago so perhaps in the next two or three weeks we'll get a call.
I'm going to go to the dealer and take some measurements in the storage area so I can start planning my storage bins for the new space. I have a spare bedroom full of stuff right now from our trailer we traded in. Might as well get it all transferred into new bins and ready to go prior to deliverywhile we are waiting....

Went over to the dealership today and checked out the cf345rf Provincial on their lot and it does have the sticker saying mount tv here in the bedroom so I'm good it will be a simple task to do when our unit comes in.

Took some measurements while there and now going to go storage bin hunting.

As I told the other gentleman that asked I have no luck posting picures on here. I did get the mount from crossroads though. The base of it mounts permanently to the wall plate and the mount slides in the base & snaps in. You then push the button & lift up a little and it is free to do whatever with. jb JMHO.

John B , Did you get it directly from Crossroads? If so was it through the service dept?

For any of you out there how many screws and what size are they for the tv mount in the bedroom on the 5th wheels. Does anyone have a factory mount? I have seen some but only have 2 screw to mount them don't know if that is enough or not. They were 1/4" screws. Thanks for your replys.

I had a Toshiba put in the bedroom, it has a dvd player, seems to do a good job.

However,I had the dealer put it in and they screwed one of the screws ( obviously too long) right through to the outside of the rig, nice.

Use the same style of mount in the bedroom and basement so you can use it both places.
