CR Cruiser CF29RK 2006.
My bedroom slide is getting slower and slower. Battery is down to 3/4 full on wall gauge.
It will come back in just fine and the LR slide goes out and comes in just fine.
I haven't removed the bed to get under there and check out what the problem might be.
I can't find anything on this particular slide in Lipperts manuals.
Has anyone had to lube this particular type slide, and how did you do it.
This is a box type slide with another box in side, with angle iron on the end to mount the room, and adjust. I am going to go back down to the storage lot, with battery cables and jump it, to make sure it is not the battery.
Any and all ideas will certainly be appreciated.

Thanks Jim

Sorry but I've never had this happen to me so can't advise you on what the problem is but I do remember reading in my Lippert's manual that you should never lub the slides. Clean them yes, lubricate them no.

Try it while hooked to your tow vehicle with the engine running and charging your coach batteries or when it's plugged it and charging off your converter see if it makes a difference.

I had mentioned this in an earlier post. While at the factory I mentioned my slide would stick occasionally. What they found was low power to that slide, a little more than 9 volts which should be 12-13. It was a bad connection. They redid the connections and the slide works great and faster. Hope this helps.

Follow up: I cleaned every connection I could, and twisted all wire nuts a little tighter. Removed the Quick connector that was in the wall behind the switch, and installed a wire nut.
I had a small amount of sulpher on the battery terminal, so I cleaned and polished that.
This was recommended by Randy @ Crossroads. Very helpful guy.
Checked speed against sister unit, and we are up to the speed of the other unit now.
Thanks everyone. Jim
