Any ideas where to buy a more durable latch for the sliding glass closet doors? We have broken three or four over the years. Seem to be a poor brittle design.

Had the same problem on our first 5th wheel. When we got our 2012 SS335 the first thing I did was take the plastic clips off. Filled the holes with wood putty. What we use to keep the doors from floating around is tention rods. One for each door. Haven't lost one yet and they keep the doors secure.

Lengths of wooden dowels work well, also.

You can try Larry Day (Dayle1 on this forum) and ask him. He was selling a magnetic catch which I can attest works great. Not sure if he has any left though.

I brought a pair at a rv store a few weeks ago,They were black & larger with a handle on them that you had to pull on it to slide the door.Made alot better than the clear plastic ones.

I think I have one or two more sets available, steel, can't break. Send me a PM if interested.

The dealer (Ozark Ford, Ozark MO) replaced our before we took delivery with some clear ones that are very flexible. They still hold the doors well but are at least twice as flexible as the standard ones.

Sorry, no idea the manufacturer but if you call Robert at Ozark, I am sure he would tell you or sell you a set.

I found these http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/r...-door-lock.htmthat look like what I have.

Tell him McKelvy sent you.Edited by: BipeFlier

Hey! Thanks for all the possible solutions. I would think CR would address this small problem. I guess they are busy working on major ones. Be safe!

I race remote-control nitro trucks and to make the a-arms less brittle/more flexable we boil them in water for a few minutes.

Not sure what will happen to clear parts but might wirk.

Thanks for the A-arm tip, I don't race my 3.3 T-Max but I still have a heck of time with the a-arms. Could be my driving, I have a difficult time keeping it away from trees and cars and just about anything else that could get in the way. These things are a blast!!!

Sorry for the hijack, now back to our regularly scheduled topic.Edited by: scott

You posted the comment about the steel closures for mirrored sliding closet doors. Do you have any or have a suggest where we should look for some? Thx, Kim
