Does anyone else have the issue of the carpet being pushed up when you put your front slide in. These are pictures from my '13 Patriot Cruiser 335ss. If you have this problem and fixed it how did you fix it. Very poor design. One of very few issues with my Patriot.

Any suggestions?????

Ours does the same thing. So far this has not caused any problems. The carpet lies flat in a short period of time.

Mine is the same on the Redwood, it does level out once the slide is opened.

Do you think the carpet was left too long and should be trimed?

Our Kitchen slide is the same. No floorspace, just some carpet to cover the transition between main body floor and slide. When DW stands in front of the stove to cook dinner the carpet flattens out. When she doesn't cook, it settles on its own eventually.
You can try holding the carpet upwards when closing the slide, it should prevent the creasing. Either you need the remote, or 2 people. We did that for a bit, but eventually I couldn't be bothered.

As others have said - same with ours - it does lay flat in no time. I would not cut it - needs to be that length to cover the transition slide area.

Thanks for the replies.,looks like I'll have to live with it. No problem but it could have a different design IMO. Sending copy of pictures to Crossroads for the designers to look at.

Our 345RF dining side carpet only slightly bunches up against the island and is about an inch and a half too long so it doesn't curl that bad. The carpet settles quickly. Your carpet looks a little long.
