Does anyone know if the cooling fan on the converter is variable? When I turn ontwo switchs ,the fan will start , but it seems as if its very low speed, when I turn on more lights the fan gets faster.Never had one act like that before. It seems it runs a lot.

Ours has a variable fan. The more 12v items you turn on the higher the speed goes.

Yes - it's variable and annoying.

If it is better to have some good cooling fan like flex-a-lite and other brands would give you, then purchase it rather than doing a conversion on that one. It would be much better if you do that then would have a good thing installed on your vehicle in the long run.

Yes, this is normal with the standard lighting inside the trailer. Switch over to LED lighting inside and you will hardly ever hear that fan run again due to the decreased electrical load. Since I switched over, I can turn on every light in the camper and not have the fan turn on.
