This is the first winter since purchasing our Cruiser 30SK. We live in Alabamawhere the winters are realtively mild but we decided to winterize just in case. When we took the cabinetapartto access the lines we noticed that the duct work where it enters the furnace was loose on the bottom side. It has a twist and lock system that was not connected resulting in a one inch gap. We fixedit and plan to check the entire system. We also added a door under the cabinet for easy access. This has been discussed in previous posts but thougt it was worth a reminder to check your systemsince it is cold weather.

It is a shame that Crossroads has known about the heater and AC duct work issues for several years now and they still can't get them fixed. I had torepair both systems on both our Cruiser and Paradise Pointe to keep from loosing warm and cold air.

Good tips. Crossroads really needs to work on the finishing aspect of "hidden" areas. We had virtually no heat in the front bedroom on first use. Upon inspection the flex duct lines were connected in a sloppy manner. I was able to patch up many slopy areas with real metallic heating duct tape. It worked wonders and I covered the blanks and touched up some wiring sloppiness and ducts at the furnace itself, too.

Everyone likes eye candy inside but the finish details of the systems is just as critical.
