You determine the tv input. You need to follow the cable from the dvd player to the tv. Move it to a port you will remember. HDMI1,HDMI2, whichever you choose that it will plug it to determined by your cable end. Then set tv to the same port through your tv menu. No reason for it not to work. Also check player on different tv just to make sure it is not the player itself.
Hope this helps.

No TV

On my TV set, you have to go Into the setup and have it scan for channels over the air. I also have a power switch above the TV compartment that powers the antenna. If that's off I wont get anything.

Finally, if you are stored in a metal covered building or lean-to, you might not pickup any signals.

Hope this helps.

Sorry, I misread your original statement. Yes, select the various inputs until you find the one with the DVD on it.

My late model 2018 has the Furrion entertainment center. The DVD is actually hooked up to the TV by using the yellow connector of RCA cabling. After hooking up yellow connector to TV try the AV selection on the remote control.

Check your input on your tv.

DVD-TV problem

Admittedly i have issues sometimes flipping between cable/antenna/ dvd/ etc. recently we were out camping trying to use our DVD and after checking everything we could think of we started rummaging thru all the paperwork. Lo and behold we found a remote that controls only the DVD player. We didnt know it existed. Good luck.

I would suggest you check the plug in connections on the back of the TV. When my trailer was new i had sound issues from the DVD player that were caused from it being plugged into the wrong jacks.
