We are doing it! Been looking for over a year now and have finally decided on a 2007 Cruiser 27 RL. Seems to be in great shape and seems to have just what we were looking for. Is there anything we need to know about this model before we sign the papers ? Did we choose a decent unit? Any help would be appreciated.

We have hadthe same modelfor 4 yearsand have been very happy with it. The only drawbackwe have foundis the lack of kitchen counter space, but it is manageable. We did replace the mattress that came in the camper with a good one, much better for sleeping. Hope you enjoy!

we bought a 27RL new in 2003. Sold it a year ago to get the new 30SKP.

I solved the counter space by making an extension. Got a double sink cutout panel from a local cabinet shop that matched the Formica well. Got a couple of slip together brackets and a folding telescoping table leg from the RV store. It extended from the counter above the drawers to make an "L" shape. You could still get by the end and the sofa. Wife loved it and we stored it under the bed.

Thanks We were thinking about a way to extend the counter and did measure a queen mattress that we have so I think that we should solve both areas of concern.

That is exactly what I was thinking about. Are the brackets available everywhere?

Has anyone mounted a 2" receiver on the rear of their 2007 Cruiser 27RL? What is the best way ? Should I Have a cross piece welded between the frame rails and the 2" receiver welded to that? I will be using it for a bike rack for 2 bikes , Not towing. It seems that a 2" receiver attached to the bumper is a No-No. I need your input

I mounted a bolt on rec. from CW on my bumper. It bolts on the bumper . I'veBeen carrying 2 adult bikes for 6 years. Everytime i put them on I give it a good shake to check and so far so good
