First Trip Out.

Well we are out with the new Cruiser 45 minutes from home at Raccoon Holler off the Blue Ridge Parkway on the maiden voyage in the 5er. Had a senior moment yesterday trying to get the tv to work with cable. Wouldn't pickup anything. Went to the office and ask about the cable. I told them it was a new camper and it could be something with it. I said I was trying to check things out and even couldn't find the antenna booster button the other day.........Boom! I said I forgot to turn off the booster. Went back and turned it off and works perfect. Gas on the fridge didn't want to stay on but finally got it to work on gas. Was fine on electric also. Probably had air in the lines. Went to lock door last night and deadbolt wouldn't lock. Looks like the lock plate on the door jam is set to high. Don't want to put another screw hole in the door jam so I will wait till I get back home and shave/grind the plate some on the bottom until it will pass. Mean time Sig 9mm will keep things secure. All in all everything is working good so not really any complaints except miner tiny things.

Sometimes if I didn't have 'senior' moments, I would have very few moments!

Talking First trip

The first trip is always the BEST! I "think" it is called heightened awareness. Always looking, always listening, always checking!! Part of the excitement of the first trip.
Happy camping with that nice looking rig!

Yea on Saturday I started smelling burning wiring or something so I was outside and inside checking everything. Finally figured out it was Someone down the road burning plastic. Wheeeea! Dodged that one. I was really surprised when we got to the campsite and still no sawdust around. I even told my wife that I was surprised. Well when we got home from camping and opened the camper up.........Yep sawdust everywhere. LOL
