Our Cruiser TT Has been parked for about a year. The decals on the front have begun to burn off from the sun and the decals on the sunny side of the trailer have cracks. The decals on the front have curled up from the sun. Any way to refresh or replace these decals?

I have them doing the same thing on my PP. I am interested in how to "REMOVE" them without messing up the gel coat on the trailer. Not sure where Crossroads got their decals, but they appear to be worthless.

They can removed it is just a little time consuming, I removed the one from the front of our old Cruiser. You need a hair dryer and a paint scraper with a new sharp razor blade in it. Just heat the decal and start the blade under one corner and slowly start pulling it back keeping the area warm. Once I got the decal off I cleaned all the glue with 3M decal glue remover. The problem will be that area under the decal will be a brighter white than the rest of the gel coat because of fading. If you are going to replace them with the same thing it should not be an issue.

Thanks for the reply and info. I guess I would have to be careful with the heat gun not to burn the gel coat. It seems that the sun warms up the decals enough where I may not need a heat gun. I'll give it a try.

With a hair dryer I think you would melt the decal long before you woud do any damage to the gel coat. You would have to leave the hair dryer on high heat in one area for quite a while to do damage to the gel coat. You just keep it moving around to spread out the heat over the surface.

Just a side note that there is a decal remover made. we used it in the body shop and it removes the decal and glue. No damage to any paint or gel coat. It was made by 3M and you would need to get it on line or at a body shop supply store. Costs about 20 bucks though. 3M Decal Remover. Good stuff but keep it off your hands.

Our side pannels have faded somewhat in spite of the yearly waxing it gets. The front red decal panel where is says Cruiser has cracked. My husband called & spoke to a woman about replacing them. she said the factory replacement is only good up to five years if they are cracked!!!!! So Larry took a photo to send via email with theattchment to them. Then we will see how that works out. As far as the side panels go for replacement we will cross that bridge when we get to that one. I don't have the ladies info in front of me, however if you do need it email us back. Karen

I just came back from having a decal repplaced at the factory, one of the dark red ones cracked, they replaced it in a very short time, I wasn't there to see them take the old one off but I was told it was no big deal to change them you might give Randy a call, I am sure he will give you some guidenceon what to do, I was also told that they are covered under the 5 yr warranty, when they did mine they did the usual great job, they even re-caulked all the openings for me and it was all free....I sure would like to see crossroads make an up-scale 5th wheel, we will be buying another and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another crossroads if they built what I am looking for.......the service is 2nd to none

They make an eraser that goes on a drill to take your decals off. Works great and leaves no marks. You can buy at NAPA.

Yep you have been found Rick. Larry called the factory in Indiana about the decals. The only one that is cover for cracking that'sunder a five yearwarranty is the front panel that say Crossroads. So if we wantto replace any of the side panels it's a cost for us! Then it's the laborof taking them off. Hope all is well say hi to Pat. Karen & Larry

Rick,

We are glad you have been found. We didn't realize you were lost, Pat never said anything.

Did you buy that new 30SK Patriot yet?

Hi Rick,

I understand you may do decals for a crossroad Cruiser. We have a 2005 that would need all of them replaced. Do you have a cost for that?
