Landing Gear Problem

I have a '14 Cruiser 35SS 5th wheel. Had to move to a new spot, while connected to shore power gear worked fine. At new spot and connected to shore power gear would not work. Checked power connection and fuse, check rear jack stands they worked fine. Could switch have gone bad? Can anybody think of something else I should check? Thanks for any suggestions.

Can you get at the back of the switch to see if you have power coming into it?

Does it work if it's connected to the truck?

It will not work hook to truck or on 5ver battery. Have not had a chance to check back of switch. Had some teeth pulled it will be a day or two before I can check wiring.

I had a switch go bad like that....one day good, the next bad. Mine worked after pushing the switch back and forth a bit. At least enough to get the legs up. Switches are pretty common at an RV shop.

Sorry I took so long to get you a update. I finely got a chance to check switch and wiring. One of the wire nuts worked loose and lost contact. Fixed that, and found one more loose while checking the rest. Everything working OK now. Thanks for the suggestions.

Well good!
Nice to hear it was something you could get taken care of without dragging it to the dealer.

Question Uneven landing gear

Like BC1965 I have a 2014 35SS Cruiser. The last time I parked it, I lowered the gear 3-4 inches, then dropped the legs onto my 12"x2" blocks and extended to unhitch. Usually, the curb (starboard) side gear will clank a couple of time as the lift equalizes, but this time the street (port) side legs clanked a number of times. Once high enough to disconnect, I did so without incident. Now I notice that the trailer is listing noticeably to port. The tires are ok on pressure, and it appears the lean is to the port landing gear. Is this just a quirk or a bum gear on the port side? I'm nervous about leaning into the forward compartment, that the port gear will give way. Thoughts, suggestions?

Thanks for the update. When "fix" suggestions from forum members work out - it is nice to see them posted with the results....
