Last night with Crossroads Cruiser

Well after many small issues and Crossroads ever changing management decisions over the past 3yrs we have traded in our 2013 CF345RF on a new Montana.

The dealers here in Ontario Canada must have gave up on Crossroads as they have all but disappeared in two short years I suspect when Tom Montague took Crossroads in a new direction of poor decisions and awful customer service.

The 2 and 5 warranty having so many stipulations added that it wasn't worth the paper or stickers it was written on.

Too bad as this site was instrumental in my decision to move from Keystone Cougars to Crossroads.. The 5 Cougars I had never caused a problem other than a window blind so I'm really hoping the Montana returns us to the same kind of experience.

the Cruiser towed like a dream and was an okay trailer but I was really getting sick of fixing it after every outing although the last couple have been great (my luck will be I have all the bugs out now and someone is getting an great unit).

Bought extended 7yr warranty with the Montana 3790rd so fingers rossed... pick it up at 9am tomorrow..........see ya all down the road.

I hope you like your new Montana. Maybe I will see you on the MOC forum or at a rally.

Although we are sad you have decided to leave the CrossRoads family, we wish you well with your new Montana. We here at CrossRoads do stand behind our products and customers. We will regret not getting you the help you needed but we also understand that sometimes good things come to an end. Best of luck. Journey on!

I feel the same way about Crossroads customer service. The recommendations and 2/5 warranty were a big part of the reason we chose a Cruiser in 2009. We had the unit inspected yearly as required to keep the warranty active. In 2012 several screws that hold the side caps underneath the rubber roof worked loose causing the cap to rise and the roof sheeting with it. We took it to a local dealer who thought it should be repaired under warranty. Crossroads refused to fix it saying the unit was out of warranty and the 5 year roof warranty only covered structural issues. It is expensive to have the unit inspected yearly and disappointing to find out that it doesn't really matter to Crossroads. The problem that we had was caused by poor workmanship and should have been covered. We moved on to another manufacturer and have been very satisfied with their service.
