LED lights in front cap.
My wife and I bought a new 2016 Cruiser 315RL. One of the things I'm going to miss about my current unit is it's a park model with soffet lights on the front which are a nice feature. We noticed that our new unit has LED lights on the nose cap that light up blue. The switch for the lights are in the front storage above the door. I kind of wish the switch was inside on the main panel so I could turn it on and off from there and not have to go into the front garage, but hey it's a nice feature. I'm wondering if this was a mid year change as the first 2016 315RL we looked at did not have this feature. I have attached pictures, not easy to see the lights as it's daytime. The switch for the LED lights is the black one next to the LED puck light.

The location of the switch is plain stupid. I have on my list to move it inside to a vacant slot on the control panel but have not gotten arounfpd to it yet.

I'm not sure how hard it would be. At this point I'm thrilled to have found the switch to turn it on. My neighbor got a new Reflection last year with a similar strip and we couldn't figure out how to turn it on.

Some only come on when the lights of the TV are lit. My Cruiser does not have a switch.

Fairly straight forward. The parts would be less than $20 at the auto parts store. The hard part would be fishing the wire to where you want the new switch. How difficult would depend on the particular layout of your unit and where you want the switch.

I'm curious what owners use these lights for. I've heard some say they sometimes us them at campsites at night to find way back (possibly annoying to neighbors?), and some use while they drive (useful?). I've only turned them on on a few times to test once in a while. Even though looking "cool", I'm not sure when I would use them.

They are decorative for the most part. On a dark or overcast night they give a nice night light in the dark. Mine are Amber so they are not bright enough to be annoying to any reasonable neighbor.

Mine was in the front garage where the batteries are over the door. If I'm facing the front of the garage it's on the other side of the wall where my face is above the door. It's the same type of black rocker switch as the one for the TV. I have a Cruiser 5th wheel.

They are decorative, nothing like a porch light or even the awning lights. Mine are blue, I haven't seen them at night, but they can't be as bright as the LED awning lights. They provide something to aim for in the distance after maybe having a few too many at a neighbors camp fire. I would just turn them off if someone told me they were bothering them.

Thanks Sean!
I stopped by the storage yard to drop off something else and hunted for this switch while I was there. It's black on black on black on black. The black switch is on a black painted background inside a pitch black compartment. It's pretty close to where you said it was.

I'm glad you found it. I don't know what some of the designers are thinking. 15 cents worth of wire and they could have put the switch on the control panel. I wonder if I can hook it up to the remote.......

I haven't picked up my Cruiser yet. It has the circuit board for the remote, but the dealer had no idea what I was talking about. I counted 5 Cruisers with the remote circuit boards in the front garage, the remotes have to be somewhere......
