My wife got the idea to make some improvements to the bed and kitchen - got tired of all the black wall covering. Pictures below.

Bob, we looked at a Cruiser 335SS back in 2012 and the first thing my wife said was she hated the black on the kitchen and bedroom walls. You have made a big improvement there.

Very nice. Will give others ideas to rid the Cruiser of the black, cheap, walls.

Really nice looking mod, Bob. Looks like it grew that way, which is the sign of a quality job.

It was self stick but we added some glue to ensure they would not work free.

Looks very nice. Can't imagine what they were thinking when they put that black wall covering in??

Feel the same about the black in the kitchen. Looking at something like this from Home Depot. Love your mod for the bedroom, have to igure that one out yet.

That would look nice and be "functional".

Hi,
What kind of material did you use for the headboard in the bedroom? Was it a piece of paneling or strips of wood? How did you attach it to the current black backing?

It looks great!

Thanks.

They are strips used for flooring - self adhesive and used glue. The wood strip is stained molding and finished with urethane. We thought of using wood paneling but tried this first.

Update on black wall in the bedroom:

We had issues with the glue we used on the first covering - took it down and put up some paneling and used different trim too. Also, different adhesive. PL 3X polyurethane construction adhesive - works allot better. I think it may have been too cold in the trailer during the first installation. No issues with the covering we put in the kitchen.
