There should have been a Cruiser sighting!!! We took delivery of our long awaited CF30SK Patriot on April 15 but were unable to take a road trip until the 21st. We headed from the <?: prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comffice:smarttags" />Kansas City area down through Ft. Smith, Ark. to Crater of Diamonds St. Park nearMurfreesboro, Ark. Then on back up to Table Rock State Park near Branson, Mo. via Lake Dardanelle State Park, Russellville, Ar. The new 5vr now has nearly 1,000 miles on her and it does pull like a dream. We love the floor plan and all the Patriot upgrades. The Corian counters are beautiful and lots of storage cabinets. I really think the 16" wheels and the Trailair pin box made towing great. We had no notable problems; just put a few small items on the Need to Do list. Boy is that 50 amp cord heavy and stiff!<?: prefix = v ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" /> </V:SHAPE>Jayhawk Campers have ordered me a12" twist lock50 to 30 amp adapter cord so I can use my lighter 30 amp cord when I don't need 50. We are pleased and excited with our new baby. Now planning a Utah and Yellowstone trip ASAP.

Really glad you had a great trip. You will love Yellowstone if you have never been there before, and if you have you know what I mean.

OK riff, not sure we can follow a new and much bigger Cruiser to Utah and Yellowstone. And yes it is 42 degrees now with light rain. Maybe next weekend we can take our first trip of the season.

Congrats on the new camper. We have an '06 30 SK that we still like a lot. I do have a question. Our kitchen sink is a cheap plastic one (you can see light through it from the bottom), and was wondering if Crossroads has upgraded to a better fiberglass or aluminum one. Have made a few upgrades (china stool, coat rack, water filter, etc.) and would like to upgrade sink, but it is a very odd size and can't find one to fit. Wondering if Crossroads now has a better kitchen sink that I could order from them. Enjoy your camper, it is a great life style.

I see you are in Van Wert. We live in Ft. Wayne, just over the line from you. What does your kitchen sink look like? Cheap plastic? Crossroads is improving them, and making them a little nicer. Wish ours had the electric awning, would useawning more often.

Our sinks are stainless and as for the electric awning im constantly worried about big wind ripping it off the way mine is designed it has no top rail and no way to deflap it i wouldnt even suggest straping it down ive been keeping it up in any wind that is one of the things id change ill go to the general section and start a new catagory

Thanks! And yes, we really are enjoying the new 5ver. The 09 30SK Partiot came with a stainless steel kitchen sink with beautiful Corian counter tops. It appears to be the same size double sink we had in our 07,29RE. We were at the lake over Mother's day for play and BBQ. We had three grandkids stay overnight and they put down bags on the floor and had a big time. I could get some measurements if it would be of any help.

We have used the awning and the best thing so far is that it takes less than 10 seconds to put it out or bring it in. Have not had it out in high winds so don't know what will happen. I will just hit the button and have it put away in 8 seconds. That is, if I don't forget and leave camp with it up. Edited by: jjriff

Thanks for the reply. It is an odd-sized sink, and I will contact Crossroads to see if I can get a replacement, as I can't find one anywhere else. Just wanted to see if they had upgraded.
