Hi, we just bought a new (to us) 2007 Cruiser CF 30sk 5th wheel. We are workampers and go to different camps to work for our site. Any information or advise would be helpful. So far we have taken out the sofa and replaced it with 2 recliners that fit our lifestyle more.

Because we have dogs, we also took out the carpet from the kitchen to the dining area slideto cut down on the hair but kept the carpet in the slide itself and the area in therear. So far it has worked well for us. Sort of marks the different "rooms" more defined.

My question is this: we are in an area with 100+ degrees heat for about a month and the ac has popped more than once. Could it be just because of the heat or is there possibly another problem or something we could do to stop it from popping?

Isn't the a/c on a double breaker 30/20 withthe main breaker? If it is buy a new 20amp breaker so you can seperate the 2. Together they get to hot and pop the 20amp side.

Welcome RockHounders....We have the same unit and CWIT hit the nail on the head. We had the same issue and swapped out the breakers and never had another problem.

Thanks for getting back so soon. Did you go to the same size breaker or something else? We really like the unit and are very happy with it. Did you do any modifications? We are thinking about adding a cutting board to double as extra counter space.

Your welcome mods are as much fun as camping to me. Yes I made a cutting board extension for our counter. The breaker should be a squareD 20 amp.

Cwit was the quickest on the draw here today....but one thing you need to check is that there is enough "lug" space to on the panel to add the extra breaker(s). If you do a search on circuit breaker mod, you should have some good information as a lot of us have done this. On my particular model, they did not allow for any extra lugs, so I had to go and buy a used one from an rv dealer and modify it to fit. While you are at it, you might want to seperate out the water heater and possibly microwave to thier own breakers as well. You might also have to modify the panel to allow for the extra breaker as well. Nothing a dremel tool can't handle. good luck....

cwit- where did you put the cutting board and how did you attach it? Any pictures? We are thinking aboutbelow the sink, just get a matching piece of wood to cover part of the open space and then attach hinged brackets so the cutting board can be folded down when not needed. Do you have a better or easier way?
