Anybody have a suggestion for a real good water pressure regulator? I've been through the cheap ones and have even tried a more expensive one and I have to say I think they all stink! They all seem to bring down the pressure and more importantly they seem to drastically reduce the flow...I've read some stuff online recently that suggests going with a hi flow / low pressure 'whole house' style regulator (like a Watts regulator). Has anybody tried this or does anybody have a different suggestion.

Try reading this, it lists another. I have 2 of the cheap ones and they work fine so far.

This retailer is well known among RVers with a solid reputation. Highly recommended. http://www.rvwaterfilterstore.com/Pr...Regulators.htm. I happen to prefer the Watts line up of regulators. Marshall Brass is out of business.

I agree with Al on the site he listed. We use the Watts Adjustable 263A Regulator adjusted to 50 psi. No issues after 4 years.

Nice set up Bob. Â*Actually I use my water pressure regulator at the tap, not on the output from the water filter. Â*Otherwise we have similar rigs.

That is an impressive set up Bob...I think I will go with the watts as well. I found it on Amazon for $48.

Personnally, I use the cheapwater pressureregulators. After leaving a couple hanging on hose spickets , I figured it wasn't worth it to pay too much for something that wasn't lasting that long. Of course, I do a lot of dry camping, so I don't hook up at CGs too often.

I made this bracket and set up about 5 years ago. It is also a Watts regulator. A cheaper version but gets the job done. I have no problem with shower water pressure or anything. I thought about upgrading to a higher flow regulator. but i figured why should i spend the money, I don't have a problem. So it has been, as is, for years.
