We would love to keep the door open when it is cool outside. I was wondering ifanyone added a solid window such as izon glass, acrylic to their screen door.

What is one more project.

Is this what you are wanting to do? This is on my to-do list.

I did mine with velcro and now they make a clear sliding panel with a neat black lever to open the door.

I removed the door and brought it to a glass shop and they installed a tinted stretch type film that fits just like the screen does . Its a clean neat job ultra light will not puncture.

Hey Brent, do you know what that material was called? What did they charge to do the door with it? This sounds interesting to keep the weight down on an already flimsy screen door.

The final mod looks like it will be a little expensive to fix.

Uh, not really. insurance covered it and now I have a Cruiser! Worked out to be about $2,600.

Nice upgrade but the journey to get it was pretty stressful. Had to enter into an agreement to purchase within 6 months. It is VERY hard to shop for trailers in Canada in the winter.

Its hard to shop for a trailer in the nice months, let alone in the winter.
