seam re-caulking

Our dealer informs me that this continuous overhang seam opening is common on the Cruiser due to the flexing of the frame. Is this happening to others as well?

I see it on ours.
Doesn't seem to do much good to rework it either.
I have also wondered if it's anything to be concerned about.

Our 08 30 SK has it. I've had some short term luck with Lexel bright white caulking. So far it's works for one trip over the mountain from Pueblo area to Ridgway Colorado. I've also opened up the panel around the pin box and was able to see that there was no damage from water entering through the cracked older caulking. All insulation was dry and painted steel was rust free.

Just an update on my previous post. The Lexel caulking/sealer is still holding up after nearly a thousand miles. My travels are mostly in the Colorado mountains so far but always include a 4.2 mile wash board county gravel road coming and going from my home near Gardner Colorado.

Thanks for the update. It wasn't as bad a project as I had imagined.
