Shower Faucet Question

I bought a new Dura Faucet (DF-SA200-ORB) Stainless Steel 60" RV Shower Hose - Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish from Amazon to replace the stiff black one that was in our 2011 CrossRoads Cruiser 5th wheel. It seems like the threads of the new hose don't fit the old shower faucet. I tried for quite a while but every time it felt like I was going to cross thread it.

Are there different thread size for different RVs? I thought they were all the same.

One might be hose thread and the other pipe thread.

I returned it and asked for a replacement. There must be something wrong with the hose threads because I tried the one from my outdoor shower and it screwed right on. The outdoor shower hose is from the same company.

We had a similar problem. We were about to pull out so we purchasing a super flexible stainless steel braided hose from Ace Hardware and it fit with no problem. At first we didn't like the looks of it but we've learned to accept it.
