Shurflo Install

I finally got around to installing the Shurflo accumulator. Definitely a good investment. Much quieter now when running on the pump. However, it is not plug'n'play. I made a trip to the hardware store and purchased two lengths of braided hose and a connector (this allows the proper hook-up between the pump and the cold water lines). Not a lot of room under the sink in the centre island - the longer braided lines made gave me the room to manouever!! In the end I achieved the aim of reducing pump cycling and noise. Happy

If you have room, I highly recommend something bigger. Like a one or two gal pressure tank. You will be much happier in the long run.

Great Idea

I was thinking the same thing - but where would you put it? I figgered maybe in the "basement" behind the front bulkhead. BUT - it would be more than I need for the odd tie I go "dry" camping.
