I have a Cruiser 29RK with slide awnings from Carefree Colorado.
In a wind storm these awnings flap quit a lot. Does anyone have some great suggestions on how to keep the slide awnings from flapping so much. Besides being noisy and hard to sleep it cannot be good to the wear and tear of the fabric.
Can't wait for warmer weather and camping season again!
We taped three swimming noodles together and slipped them in between the awning and the top of the slideout...tied them down at one end, and they work great!...they are very light and work fine...but dont forget to take them out before closing the slideout...a note next to the slideout button works for us...
Also read that inflatable beach balls work. Haven't tried them but if I go to the area around Tombstone, AZ this spring, as I have the past two years,I'll probably need to. Edited by: coastn
