The biggest problem, at least with mine, is they have very little pitch, they could've/should've raised the inside edge an inch or so, mine are nearly flat.. I usually raise/lower the front of the rv before retracting the slides to dump the puddles. Yes, I know it's suppose to be level before operating the slides, but in 10 years fulltiming & 3 different rvs this procedure has not caused slide problems yet.
I tried the ropes & beach balls, both required a ladder & didn't help enough to drag the ladder out.
Last fall I had to replace the topper fabric on the 2 biggest slides so when doing so added another round or 2 of tension on the roller & now they don't sag Unles we get lots of rain,& can't run off fast enough.
