Slide out floor

The floor has come loose on the living room slide out. When slide out is open you can see daylight on the ends and run your fingers inside from the outside. This is a 2015 Cruiser 322rl that has been used 3 times. Any one seen this before and what did they do about it. When slide in the walls are not attached on either ends. I have had numerous problems with this new trailer. It was bought new in June 2016 from Welcome Back RV in Athens Texas

This has happened to numerous trailers. Usually caused by using the slide out when it has been retracted. If the leading edge/lip of the slide is not supported when retracted, the floor where it's connected to end walls will let go because there is no support.

Any way that is what I have seen.

My slide with the dinette and couch sagged in the middle caused by some bonehead at the dealership or when they showed it and they walked on it with the slide in. I added 3 pieces of 3/4" plywood...one at each end and one in the middle to stop this from happening again.

As already stated it needs to be repaired under warranty and don't walk on it when retracted. It is also possible that the slide needs to be adjusted. If it is a Lippert mechanism, the motor drive is attached to the floor. But the side walls stop movement when opening the slide if improperly adjusted. This can put too much stress on the floor to wall joint.

We had a 38 ft, 4 slide fiver and the slide out floors started coming loose due to water infiltration at the end grain. To fix would have cost $5,000. per slide due to floor having to be in one piece. The only place that makes this length plywood is in central Indiana. We traded the unit on our current Cruiser and are closely watching the bottom of the slide out walls and the placement of the trim. Keep them sealed.
