When I run the slides out on my 2012 305sk the seals do not unfold properly. I have to climb on the roof and pull them out with my hand. Down the sides only a portion of the seal stays rolled under. worse on the big slides then the bed slide. Will this get better with some use or is there a remedy? Edited by: concreteman

I run my slides out til they are about one foot from being fully extended, then I stand on a step stool inside the trailer and check that the top seal has flipped out, if not I push it out with my hand. After I extend the slides all the way I check the side seals and if they are not flipped all the way I have a 1/2 inch diameter plastic rod that I slide under the seal at the bottom and slide it to the top flipping out the seal. This doesnt happen often, but found it is easier to check it this way than to climb on the roof.

There are some products that help clean and lubricate slide seals so they behave better. the name escapes me now.. Jb

Just did our walk through this afternoon on our new unit and the tech said the same thing when I noticed that one of the seals on our new unit didn't seat properly - slide lubricant/conditioner will bring back some of the tackiness that the seals have when new.

Dale, Next time I open the slides I will try looking at the top before it is all the way out. Thanks for the tip!
