slide toppers

i have a crossroads cruzier patriot cf335ss. i am looking at having toppers installed on the two big slides (aprox. 178" and the other one 144"). the installer says there may not be enough room between the roof and slid to effectively install toppers. they are now checking but wonder if anyone knows something about this?

The factory mounted mine almost perfectly flat & they are constantly puddling rain water. If they can mount them be sure they get as much angle as possible.

I just remember to lift one end of the rv enough before hooking up so that the water runs off
