I have looked at my lippert booklet and can't find this info in it. I need to adjust my slideout. It is the "superslide" that has the couch and dinette in it. The issue is that therear end of the slideout doesn't retract enough to fully seal. The forward end of the room is fine. If you are inside the rv and the room is retracted you can see a little sunlight at the wall where the room didn't come in enough to compress the bulb seal. It is only off by about 1/2 an inch to an inch. If I adjust the bell "stop" to allow the room to come in further then the forward end of the slideout would be crushing the seal. I have looked at the mechanism and everything is intact. I am wondering if I need to disconnect the rod that runs from the forward gear track and drives the rear gears and push that end in a little then reconnect it. I am also not sure how this came to be out of adjustment. I am thinking that rod has maybe twisted a little (though I can't really see any twist to it). Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. I will try to post some pictures if I get a chance.

Thanks,

Lonnie

This may be the manual for the slide - shows how to adjust.

Norseky: I just looked at my 5er ( same as yours - n'est pas?) and the slide mechanism for the two main sides look at lot like the hydraulic slide in this manual:
http://www.lci1.com/images/Flyers/Ow...de-out-web.pdf

Your manual is for the electric slides.

In any case all manuals for the lippert components can be found @:

http://www.lci1.com/index.php?option...&Itemid=66

Note that adjustment by non certified personnel voids warranty.

Boomer - thanks for the info.

The Montana we owned had hydraulic slides and I had the frig/stove slide adjusted by the dealer - it was hitting the floor and would over time ruin the floor covering.

Hoping the electric slides work as good as the hydraulic ones. It will be nice to control each slide individually. The hydraulics had one button for the three slides. Bed went out first, then the kitchen and then the sofa/dinette. They went back in reverse order.

Had the same problem. However, my motor twisted off. I took mine to Camping World. They replaced the motor, then it was out of adjustment. Took them 10 min. to adjust the slide.

Noresky: No problem - but I think that you probabaly had the right manual for Lonnie - rereading his post it sounds like he could have the electric slides. My 335SS definitely has the the hydraulic slides for the kitchen and living room slides - and the bedroom slide I think is the electric bedroom slide ( have to look closer to make sure).

When did you take delivery of you 335ss? I got mine in June of this year and all my slides are electric. Had it back to the factory for some work and had them adjust them and they work alot better now.

Cruzin: Thanks for the question - you made me look more closely and my 335SS does have the lippert 2.5 x 2.5 electric slides as per the following manual ( for the living room and kitchen slides) : http://www.lci1.com/images/Flyers/Ow...ideout-web.pdf, At first glance these slides look very much like the hydraulic standard slide.

My 335 has a build date on Aug 18, 2011 ( as per the VIN plate) I took delivery in Oct.

Would you happen to know who manufactures the bedroom slide? or where the manual is located? I need to adjust that slide as well as my kitchen slide and the factory is too far away.

The bedroom slide is a Lippert also and the manual should be available on Lippert's web site.

Like hhh said they are Lippert. I had mine taken back to the factory for repairs. and I had them adjust all the slides and they work great now. The dealer tried it before the factory and had them all messed up. I have another brand dealer close to me and the tech that I know said he can show me how to adjust them as they are easy once you know what to do.

You may want to look at my "delayed delivery" posting:

Prior to taking

delivery of a 2012 CF335SS the bed slide was way out of adjustment - tight on

the back but off by about at least 3/4 inch on the front. The gasket/seal was not making proper contact

to the side of the unit. The bed slide is the Schwintek in wall slide out

system. They will need to make the

required adjustments. I was told that

they had not found any issues with the slide during the pre-delivery prep and

that it must have slipped out of adjustment.

This does not sound right.

The rest of the

slides worked OK and were making good contact when in and out. The bed slide is the only Schwintek in wall

slide out system. The others are a “standard

electric slide system.

Boomer - hoping that the dealer will be able to make the needed adjustments tomorrow - I'll provide an update when we receive the trailer.

Sorry to be a sore you know what but I firmly believe from personal experience that once was is no longer as I seriously doubt any inspection/delivery prep is being done & in my case not even at the dealer level. It never was like this but something seriously negative is going on at the factory & that is not a good thing IMHO jb

Boomer - bedroom slide was adjusted - when the driver delivered the trailer he was not aware of what they did to make the adjustments/repairs. It is even on both sides and sealing - have not done a water leak check yet.

The motor control module for the slide is under the most forward compartment under the bed- separate cover the width of the bed. I had to re-install they cover because they left it off.

Thanks Noresky: I just got back from a week of Hunting ( best personal year in 30 years - 2 x 8 point bucks) and finding the control unit was on my list of things to do.
