Will the original spare tire steel white rim that came on my 08 CF32BL hold air pressure of 80 PSI if I change the valve stem? It currently has the original load range D tire on it with a max of 65 psi. The chrome
that came on the FW do handle 80 psi and I installed Maxxis load range E. I want to change the spare to a load range E also, so will the rim handle it? Thanks for any help.

I am doing the same thing next tire set. I still have the original spare and plan on replacing it. I am pretty sure 80PSI won't be an issue as long as the tire is rated for it.

Go for it I would. I didn't see a air pressure limit on my rims so I contacted a dealer that sells rims for rv's and when he checked on it they said if onmarked 80 is ok.

Well I did it . The 10 ply is mounted on the spare tire mount and hasn't blown up yet so I guess I'm good.
