Surge protector and other mods

I finally have some time to do a few upgrades. First removed the false panel above the power distribution box and added a shelf for more storage. The shelf is removable for access to the back of the power box. Then put in an extra 120V receptacle next to the power box and wired it to a spare breaker. Finally installed a Progressive Ind. 50 amp surge protector with remote display below the receptacle. There was plenty of slack in the #6 ga. power line to mount the surge protector behind the access panel in the basement.

Next project is to replace the electric brakes with hydraulic disc brakes in the next few weeks, just waiting on the parts to arrive.

Almost forgot, I also removed part of a shelf in the coat closet by the door and relocated the coat hooks. Now there is enough length for my work clothes to hang properly.
