We have the CF31SB, we found the bedroom and bunk room both do well with a 19" DVD combo LCD.

Our main living area has a 26" Sharp Aquos LCD.

I was down in the Springfield area last weekend for the RV show, I can't believe the lack of snow you folks have - we still have a lot up here.

Cool - enjoy the new trailer. The Springfield show was crazy. They had hundreds of campers, dealers, campgrounds and 3 building for $7.

Can't beat that! Enjoy!

I am purchasing a CF29RK and heard the LCD mounting bracket and alcove was for a 26" widescreen LCD. Does anyone have a recommendation for an LCD for this trailer that works well? I would like 1080i if possible but not sure if it is worth the ###.

Any suggestion would be wonderful.

I bought a Sharp Aquos. Great product and it was slimmer in depth and lighter then some of the RCA and off brands. I would have bought a Sony line my house but they side mounted the speakers and it wouldn't have fit.

You may find that the LCD mount arm isn't in the right place to center a 26" TV, I had to shift mine up and right by a few inches.

We just got our 2008 Cf30sk and purchased the Vizio 26 lcd. It fits perfect with the bracket that came with our unit. My only concern on another post I made was when on the road should the tv be taken down?

I looked for a 26" Sharp Aquos and found the following model number:

LC26D40U
Is this the one you installed in your CF29rk?? Looks like a great LCD.

Thanks for the tip on the LCD!

Tyrel-- I have a 29 RK 2009 and the livingroom TV hole is 27 wide and 20 tall.I found a 26 inch veizo and a 26 inch sanyo that fits, but haven't gotten either yet.I will buy one in a couple weeks for our trip to Bristol races.I'm sure there are others, but for the size I'm not paying over $400.Wal-Mart and Sears is where I've been looking mostly. One I believe had 1080i .Edited by: FB1965

You won't see much difference in a 720p and 1080i model at 26". When you get to 40+ inches you'll want a 1080i and 120mhz refresh rate.

We pick up our CF29RK 2009 in about 3 weeks from RVWholesalers.com. How do you like yours??

I was curious if the LCD mounting bracket allows the LCD to tilt down a little bit? The viewing angles are less of a concern if the bracket will tilt down.

Thanks

tyrel -

My 2009 has the LCD mount, it works to swing left, right and does tilt up/down. I found the arm to be of decent quality but I would block the TV during transportation. As mentioned, my 26" Aquos (SHARP) fits just perfect in the hole. I did have to remove the screws and shift the mounting arm up and right as they didn't (obviously) expect someone to stick a 26" in there. They have a large backer board in there so you can move that arm and have plenty of meat to grab with the screws.

Idon't have a flat screen in my 5th wheel, but at home I have 3 sharp Aquos tv's and they are great all 3 are 1080'a and the picture is really nice, I have all of them on HD receivers from Direct TV, I am considering putting them in my camper....if your looking for a TV, they are a really good buy, I bought all mine off the net, never went into a store, they were delivered right to the house no sales tax and the guy gave me a free HDMI cord, hard deal tp beat, no salespeople to deal with, no trying to beat you into an extended warranty, and I had themin 3 days and the shipping was free...

Thank you everyone for helping me out. We are picking up the Trailer April 30, so soon we will be in the Crossroads Cruiser family.

I ended up getting the Samsung 26" LCD. Personal opinion is that I like the picture a little better. The Sharp and Samsung looked very close though. Looking forward to spring/summer/fall this year with the new trailer and can't wait to take it out.

Tyrel,

I just had a Vizio 26" installed in my 28RL and the tech recommended taking it off during transit. I know you have a different floorplan, but may want to ask when you do your walk through what they recommend. Congrats!

I have wondered if it would be okay on that LCD arm. The Samsung is 18lbs so not that heavy; however, when hitting a bump that 18lbs would have some added force. Thanks for the heads up. I will ask.

We also have on order a CF29RK, we thought we would get a 2009 but the dealer said they will go ahead and build us a 2010.we are supposed to get it 2nd or 3rd week of April. Like you we will be pulling it with a F250 and have pulled a TT for years but never a FW. We would love to have someone to compare notes with.

I love this Forum, I have already learned so much.
