underbelly material patching

We had a water leak and had to cut the underbelly to get it dried out. I used straight cuts; what material/tape do I use to repair the cuts?

You can use Gorilla tape, and heat it carefully with a blow dryer to set it.

Yea I agree. You can get it 3” wide.

I used the stuff our RV dealer sold me when I had to replace a section of mine. It’s very very sticky and is sold by the foot and is 4” wide. Worked excellent.

Eternabond tape was recommended by my repairman, and worked great for me when I had the same type of problem.

Eternabond is the gold standard but its pricey.

A length of 2" wide sheet metal from a furnace duct centered and some sheet metal screws and you can take off at a later date if needed. Make sure you secure all the wires that are laying on the bottom .

I had to do similar to my grandfathers 5th wheel, I found some Gorilla tape held it without an issue.

I used gorilla tape also. First I cleaned it off weel (soap and water, then rinsed with soap) made sure it was dry then taped it and heated with blow dryer. It's been a year now and still holding.

My RV repair shop did similar. covered a floor patch with a piece of sheet metal underneath.

I'm sorry I meant washed with soap and water, then rinsed the soapy solution off with water...jeez!
