Anyone with a CF31QB know the location of the water pump? I looked today in the master bedroom but did not locate the pump. Found the water heater by-pass that is so easy to access.

Art, if you don't get an exact location from someone with a CF31QB you should be able to track it down by sound. Turn it on and open a faucet. You should hear the pump hammering away. Then just track it to the nearest access or access panel. If you can't hear it, it either isn't working or it is one quiet pump. If your pump is that quiet I will trade you for mine.

In most trailers the pump is located somewhere near the fresh water fill pipe.

Art,

I would assume it's located in the same place as mine which is in the master bedroom, facing the dresser on the right hand side behind a little panel. You have to remove 4 small screws to gain access to the pump (PITA iMO). Don't take the screws all the way out of the panel and try to replace it in the same position as when you took it off, it will make things alot easier. On the pump itself there should be a valve with about 1ft of hose. I would recommend that you change the hose to a longer one as it barely reaches the jug of antifreeze. I hope this is what you were after.

I looked exactly where you said and took off the four screws. I could not get the cheap filler panel out to expose the pump. Any suggestions? Maybe a knife blade for prying?

I usually just thread one of the screws in a couple of threads, just in the panel, then pull.

Once I take the panel off the first time I go to Lowe's and buy a cabinet handle to match and apiece of prefinished base shoe moulding that matches the panel color. I attached the handle to the center of the panel and staple a piece of base shoe vertically to each side of the panel to cover the screw holes. ThenI staple velcro to each side of the wood strips in the opening and staple the mating velcro to each side of the back of the panel. Now I don't have to mess with the screws ever again and it looks good.
