Getting prepared for my first time at winterizing. In keep reading about bypassing the water heater to use less antifreeze. Does anyone know if the 19rd comes with a bypass from the factory or am i going to nned to install this?

It should have the bypass built in from the factory. Find the water heater inside the trailer and you should see the by pass valves. Then, after by passing the water heater, remove the plastic plug from the bottom of the heater to drain it.

I was able to find the Hot Water heater behind a partioned of portion of the storage area. thru a 2 inch wide opening at the top I was able to take a picture with my cell phone and I can see two valves. One looks to shut off the cold incoming while the 2nd must be the bypass since it looks to join the cold to the hot line. What I don't understand is what keeps the water from flowing into the water heater thru the hot port wwhen the bypass valve is open. Also does anyone have any suggestions on how to reach these valves on a 19RD witout having to dismantle all these paartion walls in the storage area?
