Hi all (new member)

We are not new to camping (always had a truckcamper and boat), but just bought this fifth wheel at our local Edmonton RV Show and I want to install a hitch I bought. My question is; what is the pin height on the trailer when its level? I measured everything else, because we are still towing the boat behind the trailer, andhad to be within the 66' length. The dealer has ordered us one, but it won't be here for another 5 weeks. Anyway I thought if anybody had this fifth wheel and new the height that would be great.

GMC 2500HD 4x4 LB, 36" to truck bed, hitch is ajustable from 14" to 18"

Thanks,

Ray

I believe that you want 6.5 to 7 inches between your bed rails and the overhang of the fifth wheel

Thanks, CrossRoads service manager emailed me a pin height of 43-1/2", so if the top of my hitch is 50" (-2" settling from trailer weight - maybe) that leaves 4-1/2" slope over the 28' (1.3%). I guess that should be ok.
