We're newbies of a 2012 27rl. Got the fresh water tank sanitized, cleared lines, reset hot water bypass, and have filled the hot water heater. Can't get hot water tank to come on in electrical mode. Any suggestions as to what I'm missing? Thanks!

I'm sure you did but did you check the breaker. My old TT had a on off switch on the hot water heater.

Other than the breaker, it doesn't sound like you missed anything. If you have a meter, you can check the voltage at the back of the W/H. It may be a bad element but I haven't heard of anyone having problems with the element.

When you open the door on your hotwater tank you see 4 conections tward the center with a conection bord to the right. There is one connection with a short jumper on it take this out long enough to see if it will work. Clean the contacks also.
