I bought a 28BH off the lot (off the internet, actually), and have some questions.
 1. How do I know if it has the "polar package"?<ul>
 2. It has black coroplast sheeting under the frame the entire length of the trailer.
 3. It has a "Thor" sticker, does this have something to do with it? If not, what does the Thor sticker have anything to do with a Zinger trailer?
[*]To bypass the water heater for winterizing, don't I need a total of 3 valves?</span>
 1. To close the inlet line at the bottom of the tank (this valve is present)</span>
 2. To open the bypass hose between the bottom and top of the tank (this valve is present)</span>
 3. To close the outlet to the top of the tank (this valve is missing)</span><ul>
 4. Without the third valve, won't the antifreeze still fill the tank, requiring an extra 6 gallons unnecessarily? Has anyone else added the third valve?</span>
[*]How do I know if it's a 2013 model or a 2014 model? It was advertised as a 2013, but the keys and window sticker say 2014.
 1. Date of manufacture on the side is 3/21/2013.
We got an awesome deal on it, and it was the exact model we were looking for. We ended up buying it sight-unseen (except for some pictures) and driving 3000 miles round-trip to get it. It was $3500 less than the best deal we could get locally for a lesser equipped example. Now we are just trying to figure out exactly what we have!

Thor is the parent company.
2 valves only due to a one way flow valve on the other line.
Year of trailer- go by your ownership i guess, they seem to have interesting ideas relating build date to madel year.
Happy camping!

Call Crossroads with your VIN number and they should be able to tell you what year model you have.

There is a one-way valve on the upper line? Is it right at the tank?

Anyone know how to tell if I have the Polar Package?

Call Crossroads and get a build sheet emailed to you.

I don't think zinger has a polar package bu could be wrong. There are winterizing kits that only have two valves although mine has three. They have begun making 2014 models. What is yours titled/registered as? Thor is the parent company to crossroads who manufactures zinger.

The 30 day "drive away permit" does show the vin and says model year 2014. Sweet!
I'm going to check for a check valve, because I really don't want to buy an extra 6 gallons of antifreeze.
I sure thought I had salespeople telling me about polar packs on Zingers, but it could have been a different brand.

I just checked the website and no mention of polar package in standards and options.

It does state under options that a "upgraded insulation" is available.

That's probably when the guy throws two handfuls at it instead of one.

I've got the 2013 model 28BH. We love it. Best layout for us (2 adults and one kid, with plenty of friends)
No polar package, as far as I know. I think thevinyl undercoating is for protection, and aerodynamics only.

I didn't have any issues with winterizing last year.

You're absolutely wrong. It was three handfuls.
