I have just purchased a 2012 zt-310-sb and it looks like it is in brand new condition. I have a couple of questions for teh experts here on the forum. First, this camper was bought and moved to a permanent site. Like i said it looks like it is brand new. I paid $11,00.00 for it and was wondering if that is a good deal? Second, is any warranties transfered over? Also there is a crack on the kitchen counter and I was wondering if that can be fixed (and how to do that) or replaced (how much would that cost). I look forward to camping with my new zinger and chatting with everyone on the forum.

Congratulations on your purchase.

Look for the manufacture date that should be on the build sheet that is usually inside the left cabinet above the sink. Most of the 2012 units had a 2 year warranty so you should be covered. If it is the solid service, it will probably have to be replaced. If you do not have a Zinger dealer, you could contact Crossroads directly. This is the contact that I have used: Andi Miles who is in the warranty department and her number is 260-593-3850 ext 2407

Good luck.

Actually you can repair solid surface cracks. It can be done by a professional or a do it yourself kit. Here is one kit I found on the net:http://refinishingonline.com/store/countertop-repair-kits A lot cheaper than replacing it. Best of luck to you.

Not sure what your unit runs new but that seems like a good price.
Hopefully the dealer gave you some kind of warranty.

From our manual (I put the letters in bold):

<!-->CrossRoads warrants that it will repair or replace defect in
material and workmanship in the covered components of the recreational vehicle for
the period identified in the section of this limited warranty entitled €œLength
of Warranty€. This Limited Warranty extends only to the first retail purchaser
and begins on the date of original retail delivery, or the date the
recreational vehicle is first placed into service (whichever occurs first).

Thanks everyone for the info. I am really looking forward to setting it up and using it. thanks for the info on the warranty. That stinks that it is only for the first retail purchaser.

I will see what they say about replacing the counter top even if I have to pay for it I dont think it will be that expensive. I will probably try to repair it myself first and see how that looks.

Welcome and congrats on the new to you zinger. If the unit is in as good condition as you described I believe you got it for a really good price. Nada listed used low retail on the unit at $18,760 and avg retail at $22,600. My 2011 zinger has had dealerships offer me $14,000 for trade in on it. My thought on your TT would be why so low on the price? You are sure there are no leaks anywhere? no soft spots or anything? Can't help you much on the counter. Enjoy your zinger. A ours has been a great unit and we love it.

Anaro, I know what you mean but everything looks very solid. I was/am worried also. It time will tell. They were asking 18,000 and I put in a bid for 10,000 thinking they would come back with 16,000 or something like that but they came back with 11,000. I will find out more next week. Everyone will know if I got issues when I start posing all these problems on the forum.

I see you are in pa. Check out the northeast crossroads rally in the spring, it is being held in pa. It would be nice to have another zinger or two there.

anaro, Yes I am. The problem is that I am putting the zinger on a seasonal site near Long Beach Island NJ. I ahve a Chevy Avalanche 1500 and the tt would be to heavy for my truck to pull. We use to have a 26ft Sunline that we traveled all over the east coast with but since our kids are older we are looking for a seasonal site close to the ocean.

We are doing a final inspection of the zinger this week and I can't wait to start using it. I will have to post some pics.

Good luck! We loved our 28-ft. 2012 Zinger so much we upgraded to a 2014 32QB (34-ft).

I doubt you will have many issues if unit looks clean and well-kept. Seasonal campers (like ours) get used ALOT more, so some extra wear may be only concern. I would spend some time cleaning and sanitizing (esp. black tank), but 3 years of heavy use on our 2012 didn't seem to phase it.

Happy camping!
