I just picked up my new ZT25SB Zinger today. What should be in the drain for the bathroom sink? In this one, there is no fitting, no plug, just a hole into the drain pipe. Is there not some kind of fitting that should be there to keep water in the sink if we want? Is this a factory screw up in this rig?

If your sink is like mine, a normal house faucet drain (pop-up drain) will not fit these sinks. You should have a small stopper that sits in the drain to hold water in the sink.

OK, small rubber stopper and that's it?? No metal ring at the drain hole? Just the sink material itself leading to the drain pipe? I guess I expected an insert made of some kind of material, perhaps tin, around the hole. If that's not the way they are built, then the only thing I'm missing is the rubber plug.

I have a metal ring that tightens the two pieces of the drain to the sink. Basically sandwiches the sink between these two pieces. Mine is an '07 so the drain may have been changed since then.

Are you referring to the bottom of the sink, under the cabinet? What I am referring to is inside the sink from the top where one would put a stopper in or turn a drain knob to keep water in the sink.

Yup....we are talking the same thing. I have the chrome ring...you don't. Not sure how your drain is attached from underneath the sink without the ring.

Are you talking about the "stopper" or, how the sink is attached/to the drain? I think you're referring to the stopper/plug. I have one in every sink in the trailer, and I think you should also. Maybe ask your dealer to get you one. Should have came with it.

Ours does not have a ring. It has an opening and a plastic drop in plug.

No ring in the half bath sink. Just sink into pipe.

Well, thank you very much. I guess that answers that question. My camper seems to be OK then; now that I've fixed the LP gas leaks! All I need to do now is adjust the slide out stop mechanism per "Old Farmer"'s instructions.

Bathroom
sink drains allow water to flow out of the sink basin into the p-trap
and ultimately to the sewer. Sink drains can be matched to faucet finish
and can come with a stopper or grid drain. Some drains also connect to a
pull stopper or a push stopper on the faucet. Basket strainers are also
available with some sink drains. The bathroom sink drain is not only
important for looks but to maintain a good water flow from your sink.
Consider drains from brands like Kohler, Danze, and American Standard.

Mine has this in it. When I did my first inspection there was nothing there and the dealer gave me this.

That's exactly what I got with my new Zinger (the picture posted). Now, brush your teeth with the stopper removed and accidentally drop your engagement ring in the sink!!!
This arrangement doesn't even allow a quarter turn of the plug to let water out but stop anything larger from dropping in the drain pipe.

Yeah, I have always been afraid of that too. I always leave my ring on when traveling. Lol.

I meant wedding ring. She never gave me an engagement ring. I'll have to bring that up.

We also have a strainer in our sink to keep objects going down. Highly recommend it!

Look around and compare tiles before buying. After you've made the
estimates for the floor space that needs to be tiled, window-shop for
your ceramic tiles. Ceramic floor tiles come in a variety of prices,
shapes, textures and styles. Pick a tile that's within your price range.
Then, ask to see in what a palette of colors that tile comes in, so you
can select one that fits the look you want to make. The most common
ceramic tile size is one square foot. But ceramic tiles may come in a
wide array of sizes; from one inch, to two feet.
