We were wondering if anyone out there has found a cheapproduct/home remedy to remove the black streaks that run down the sides of the trailer after a rain? We know we aren't the only ones to experience this phenomenonbecause we have seen some clean trailers out there. Any help will be appreciated.

Solvit works for me. In fact you can use it on the whole trailer -- inside and out, if you want.

Great news about the Solvit. What exactly is it and where do you find it? Is it a household/auto cleaner or what? Thanks for the info.

I ordered direct fromSolvit Cleaner. If you live in Wisconsin you may be able to find it in a local store.

JUST DON'T USE BLEACH WHITE SPRAY. I did and it takes the finish right off the siding. Paint is there but cannot be waxed and shined....I did that last year and did not like the results....now the black streaks are harder than ever to get. I will try solvit...

Heading to Sandusky KOA this weekend. Anyone else? Anyone been there before? Any comments pro or con?

We hava fiberglass siding but I use a Meguiar's spray "detailer". It works great as long as the streaks haven't been on too long. It is also great for getting bugs off of the front cap when we are traveling and I don't want to wash it.

I use a liquid product called Fastball. I got it from a car detailers supply shop. I got the 1 gallon concentrate for about $25. You mix it 1:1 with water, spray it on and wipe it off. You have to use gloves though, it will dry out your skin.

I have used a product called "Awesome". You can get at most dollar stores (the stuff is dirt cheap) just be sure to cut it as the instructions say. It worked very well for me.
