Took out the neighbors mirror today while pulling into my driveway. Rear of the camper clipped it when it swung out.

The trailer suffered minor damage to the aluminum skin...just a small dent. The rear corner molding pulled out and got bent up. I was able to bend everything back into place and put some proflex caulking where the gaps were.

The molding is easily replaced - but where can I get one? Would my dealer be able to get this in the same champagne color? All the ones I see online come in white and can only be shipped in 8' lengths by UPS.</span>

I was able to polish out all the black marks on the skin.</span>

You would think the dealer could order it

Dealer can get the exact part and color from Crossroads and it is only $16.88. Since I need a piece longer than the UPS shippable 8', freight will cost me $130!

Oh well, lesson learned.

Daystrom,
Wow, I guess you answered a question for me. I have a small "nick" in my 12' piece of aluminum skirting on the front of my unit. I called CR and they said an easy fix, my dealer can order it much cheaper than I can and it just needs to pieces of moulding removed to put it back on. However, now that you tell me about the $130 for one piece...I may think about picking it up myself when I'm at the rally. Don't like to leave the nick there but for that much for shipping I think I can do it. I'll let the DW decide I guess.

thanks,
Jim

Yeah I was expecting a lot for freight. The piece I need probably only weighs a pound. It's the length that gets you.

They told me I can have it cut into two pieces so it wouldn't be more than 8' and thus could be shipped by UPS for $20. Don't know if I would want a seam on that piece since it is there to protect against water entry.
