Dometic 457915.711CO AC

We purchases a 2013 Zinger Travel Trailer that has a Dometic AC and digital thermostat. In our prior unit when the room temperature reached the thermostat setting the unit turned off very much like our home unit. This AC unit, while the compressor does cycle off, the fan runs continuously. Is this a defect or normal operation for this AC unit.

Would appreciate your thoughts.

It sounds like your fan may be set to run continuiously. Go to the fan setting on the thermostat and make sure that it is set to auto rather than low or high. That may solve the problem. When the fan setting is in the low or high position it will run continuously.

Thank you qball my fan was set to high. I set it to auto and it now cycles on and off with the compressor. Again, many thanks.
